The Ministry makes a study of the work permit application files in consideration of the following criteria.

The absence of Turkish personnel with the same qualifications to replace the foreigner,

A work permit is approved if foreign personnel are required.

Employers wishing to employ foreign in Turkey are obliged to get permission from the Ministry of Labor Studies.

WORK PERMIT TO BE TAKEN;
The profession of the foreigner, the previous information registered in official institutions, the legal requirements of the Employer must be sufficient.

The company’s paid-in capital must be at least 100.000 TL or gross sales must be at least 800.000 TL or in the last year it must be at least 250.000 US dollars.

It is a legal obligation to employ at least 5 Turkish citizens for each foreigner to be employed, except for the foreigners who will work in the works received by the state tender.

CHARGE SUBMISSION TO FOREIGNERS:
The lower limit of the wages to be paid by the employers according to their jobs and the jobs they will employ is determined by the Ministry.

Gross wages of the employer;

  1. For senior managers, pilots and engineers and architects requesting preliminary permission; 6.5 times the minimum wage.
  2. It is 4 times the minimum wage for Engineers and architects and Unit or branch managers.
  3. Teachers and psychologists, physiotherapists, masseurs, masseuses, musicians, stage artists, acrobat and other foreigners to work in the title and specialization and mastering jobs for those who work is 3 times the minimum wage.
  4. For domestic services, salespersons, marketing-exporters, etc. are required to be twice the minimum wage for foreigners.
